Okay so for some reason it's not letting me put anything up today. I don't know if it's an error or if you're only allowed to put up so many deviations per account. >.<

Anyway here is the poem I was trying to put up.

When My Prince Became An Angel

It was just like a fairy tale, it was just you and I,
The love that we both shared we knew we couldn't just deny.
I told him good night, and I told him I love you,
He said to me good night princess and that he loved me too.

And that morning I got the word, was told sometime after dawn,
He said to me he had bad news, he told me you were gone.
I didn't want to believe it was real, I said it wasn't true.
But now you're gone and I wonder, just what am I to do?

When my Prince became an Angel, I felt my blood run cold,
For then I looked upon the path, unto a lonely road.
Our love was then no longer, a fairy tale to me,
There was no happy ending, there was just tragedy.

For angel wings I know that you have traded your armor,
Oh how deeply that I wish things are the way they were.
For your life I know you fought, but that you lost the duel,
And sometimes now I wonder, just how fate can be that cruel.

They say find someone new, and to look at all the rest,
But that is very hard to do, when you have had the best.
You've left a hole within my heart that none can ever fill,
And even as the decades pass I know I'll miss you still.
